I managed to accidentally disconnect my Hive when dealing with an unrelated network issue (it got confused and ended up without a DHCP address, I suspect), and I only found out when I next went to manually change the temperature at home.

It would be great if Hive could regularly report a 'heartbeat' to the central server (if it doesn't do so already!) which could then send me a notification (on my phone and email) if the heartbeat is missing for, say, 30 minutes or more.

(I know in this case, the schedule I'd set should continue without interruption, so maybe a notification window over 1 hour makes sense, but it took a little while to re-connect the Hive and get it working again)

- Miles.
