Hi,

I have had Hive installed for a few months, and the following features appear to be missing (or I am missing something :) )

'Holiday' function - the ability the 'suspend' normal schedule for X days. Currently I turn heating and water off when I am away, but keep forgetting to reactivate before I get back.

Boost/extend function for heating, as exists for water, otherwise, again, I have to remember something - to turn heating back off.

I have also submitted to BG, but I am posting here in case anyone else agrees/has workarounds.

yes same things I'm missing - although on my old programmer I was always a confused by how exactly to count the days of my holiday and therefore exactly when it would come on again, so would much rather want to say: "switch on on 28.1. at 12:30" or of course even better "switch on whenever you need to, to make it 20 degrees by 2 pm that day"

Do you count the days the way a Berlin coach company used to advertise 3 day trips to London? spend 18 hrs or more on a coach - arrive bleary-eyed in London - stagger bleary eyed around London all day halucinating about beds or at least a comfy sofa - then spend another 18 hrs on a coach - hey presto you just had a three day "break"

A couple of thoughts

Having more than one schedule would make sense to me eg.

Schedule A - "Normal"
Schedule B - "Away for the Weekend"
Schedule C - "School Holidays"

and so on.

The holiday one mentioned above, why not have the ability to suspend required schedule until a specific date.

Hi, Guys

Can I support the idea of a Schedule A & B, this would be really useful for us as our work pattern changes every week, one week it is Schedule 1 for instance the next week it is Schedule 2 and the next week it reverts back to Schedule 1 and it continues to alternate like this until we go on holiday. At the moment we are constantly changing our daily heating schedules, so if we could just select from Schedule 1 or Schedule 2 then it we would only need to change things once a week.
Keep up the good work! Regards Allan
