Hi,

I believe that the official app is communicating with the Hive system via the API at that address, i.e. :-

https://api.bgchlivehome.co.uk/v5

I have successfully logged in to my hive account at that address (via curl in C++). You can control the heating, see whether the boiler is on or off, enumerate each device on the zigbee network. I am working on something to control my 2 smart plugs next, and maybe a geofencing android app to activate my heating automatically when I am on my way home.

We really need the rest of the alertme products to make it through to the Hive subsystem. I really want to replace my old wired burglar alarm with something more modern and tweakable. I would also really like Hive TRVs on my rads so I can control my heating better. I am wasting a lot of energy/money heating the whole house morning and evening. If Hive don't get to it very soon,.. I may have to replace it with http://opentrv.org.uk/ for this purpose, which would be a shame.

The Hive API seems to be there and the alertme hardware exists already,... why can't I buy it??

Hi,

Wondering if anyone has managed to get anything working with Smart Plugs yet?

I've been able to list mine, but any attempts to control it through my interpretation of the docs have failed...

Many thanks for any assistance,
Iain
