Sometimes, the app has problems logging in or refreshing and keeps trying for ages, which slows everything else on my phone to a crawl.
I can't see a way of just stopping that so I can give up the idea and get on with other things. I think even when I turn to something else it continues trying to connect in the background until eventually it comes up with an error message.
Tell me if I'm wrong with that.
Anyway, if it is true what I suspect, that it is the Hive app struggling that is slowing other things down, then I would like to be able to just stop it - like you can stop a website downloading when there is a problem
PS. as you might have guessed, my phone is "old" by smart phone standards.

If iPhone... Double tap the home button... This will bring up a "task manager" listing all the running apps. Then flick the app off the screen (or old iOS tap the X).
